The 8th-day fidau for the late former Chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) Honourable Abdulwaheed Gbolagade Busari was held at his Bodija residence on Monday.
The former Sports Editor of the Sketch newspaper and Special Adviser to the late Oyo State Governor, Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi, died last Monday at the University College Hospital (UCH).
Members of the management team and officials of the 3SC, led by the General Manager Rasheed Balogun, were on ground to witness the event.
The 3SC GM was accompanied to the programme by the Director of Administration, Rahman Olapade, Team Manager Dimeji Lawal as well as the technical crew made up of Chief coach, Edith Agoye, coaches Lateef Yusuf, Kabiru Alausa, Yinka Popoola, Abayomi Adigun and Kola Ige.
The occasion was also graced by the friends and associates of the late 3SC Chairman, including the deputy governor of Lagos State, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Political Matters, Honourable Babatunde Oduyoye, the deputy national publicity secretary of the PDP Prince Diran Odeyemi, former Secretary to the Oyo State Government Alhaji Olalekan Alli and former Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Toye Arulogun.
Former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Bayo Ojo, former chairman House Committee on Sports, Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Fatai Adesina, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, Honourable Ope Salami and Honourable Yemi Badru, as well as the deceased immediate and extended family members, were also present.
