Monday 30th of November 2020 would always be a day I will choose not to remember. But I can’t, because it was one of the saddest days of my life.
On that fateful Monday, I lost a person dear to my heart. Death took away from me a friend like a brother, Alhaji Gbolagade Busari, a man we fondly called Busso.
The demise of Busso threw me into a land of dreams as I still can’t believe Busso is gone forever.
Before Busso left for eternity, we dreamt together, we planned together and we worked together. As Politicians, we both worked together in the progressive fold, the APC.
And as sports administrators, we toiled day and night on how to reposition the heritage of South West, 3SC, and return it to the fold of Power Houses.
But your death put paid to our togetherness.
However, I hope our dreams would become reality and our desire would be realized by our successors.
My condolences go to the bereaved family of Busari Gbolagade, the Shooting Stars Sports Club, and the All Progressive Congress as we all mourn the death of our loved man. May God give us the fortitude to bear this great loss.
May Allah forgive Busso his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest in Al Jannat Firdaus.
