Futuro Kings defied incessant pressure as it ran out bravely with a 2-1 win over Rivers United at the Estadio De Mongomo in its CAF Confederations cup preliminary round first leg.
Futuro Kings who were lucky not to have conceded three goals in the opening 14 minutes of the first half but went ahead just after the break as Nkama Gregoire rose highest to head in the game’s opener.
The “Pride of Rivers were shunned as they conceded a second goal in the 66th minute of the match of the cross by Maye Ngoma.
