African Knockout Fighter Daniel Emeka has admitted that he is participating in the African knockout show due to the condition of his brother who is down with epilepsy.
Daniel Emeka who is popularly known as “The Big Shark” admitted this to the show’s host Okey Bakassi before his breathtaking knockout victory in just 1 minute and 38 seconds against his opponent Godwin Ambrose.
According to Big Shark, “I came here because of my brother who is in the village down with epilepsy, I have the mindset that I can do it, with his hospital bill of 300,000 Naira which we haven’t been able to afford” he said.
He went further to say that he is confident and ready to face any opponent no matter how strong, skillful, or bigger.
“I’m always ready for anybody, I don’t care if you are stronger or skillful or bigger they are”, Emeka concluded.
The African knockout Show which is the first of its kind hosted by Okey Bakassi featuring fighters with different backgrounds all with the aim of victory.
The show is a combination of sports and entertainment, with 2 teams of fighters, living and interacting with each other for a period of nine (9) weeks, trained by top professional MMA Coaches with a final live event in December 2020.
At Landmark Center, the Official Fighting Venue is heating up various rigorous training sessions, fun challenges, drama, and visits from celebrities with the fights among the teams heating up for the big prize including cash prizes, a brand new car, and a contract to fight in one of the world’s biggest league.
