Nasarawa Amazons assistant manager Seyi Olaoye was unhappy despite his team’s 2-1 victory over fellow NWFL Premiership side Confluence Queens on Monday.
Despite not having the better possession in the game, Nasarawa Amazons went on to cement an important victory through goals from Adejoke Ejalonibu winger Chiemebere Opara.
Olaoye while speaking with the media after the game said the victory wasn’t convincing enough as he expected his players to have done better in the game.
“To be fair, I didn’t really like the game, I felt my girls should have possessed more from the back and create more chances than our opponent.
” I think we didn’t do all the things we learned. He told the Flying Officers Cup Media.
” We need to improve on our game if we want to get to the next stage in this competition, but the good thing is that we took our chances and made it count. He concluded.
Nasarawa Amazons will face Honey Badgers on Wednesday, in their second game of the season.
