AFTER the latest jab on its arm by the USA based Commission of Boxing Association (COfBA), the World Africa Boxing Association (WABA) leaves for the United Arab Emirate’s archipelago of Dubai on Saturday ready to expedite skills and knowledge to Ring Officials from many a countries.
Led by the body’s Maestro, the WABA’ President and Chair of the Board Hon. Ky Col. Onesmo Alfred McBride Ngowi from Tanzania, team WABA includes its Senior Vice-President Simon Adjamba from Namibia, Irene Joseph Magebo, the Director of Human Resources Management (DHRM) and its Commissioner to Malawi Agnes Matimakunena, the former welterweight champion of the world respectively.
The WABA is leading a team of renowned trainers in Didier Le Bougne from France who is also WABA’s Commissioner to France and Lorenzo Borgomeo from Italy who are the MMA, Kickboxing and Muaythai experts.
Also on the WABA Team is Roger Nii Ronney Barnor from Ghana who is the Ring Officials Committee’s Vice Chairperson of the Association of Professional Boxing Commissions (APBC).
Both the APBC and Boxers Mixed Martial Arts Fighters Union (BMMAFU) have certified the seminar.
The International Ring Officials Training seminar in Dubai is posted by the Ringside Gym Global owned and managed by the WABA’s Commissioner to the Middle East and Samoa Island Zack Taumafai from Samoa Island and Payom Honari from Iran.
Participants from Africa, Asia, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Persian Gulf have registered in drove to attend the seminar coming at the right time when the world is slowly returning to normalcy when combating
