United Unbeaten Again On The Road

Ogbomoso United FC continue their perfect preparations for the coming NLO season with a well deserved draw against Debby FC of Ilorin this afternoon.

The Match which started on a sunny Friday afternoon with The Wolekanle Boys firing from all cylinders from the beginning to the end in searching for a goal ended in a barren draw.

The first 45 minutes was dominated by the OUFC boys with Ganiyu Sodiq and Ayokunle Hammed dictating the tempo of the game. Ganiyu Sodiq has the change to put the team ahead with a free kick close to the edge of the box but his effort went just a little over the bar in the 8th minutes. Five minutes later Ganiyu put Adekunle Majeed through with a big chance but he was denial by the giant goalkeeper of Debby FC. Adegbite Michael was also denial twice in the 1st Half by the Goal keeper of Debby FC who undoubtedly was the Man of the Match in the first 45 minutes.

The second half started almost the same way the first half ended with chances upon chances coming through united way, Oyetunde Olalekan effort from a corner kick was also denial by the goalkeeper of Debby FC who was having a very busy afternoon. The Duo of Michael Friday and Adegbite Michael were denial from a one on one situation.

Adewale Saheed the Goalkeeper of Ogbomoso United who was having a Holiday in the game was made to denial a beautiful free kick in the 75mins which was Debby FC major attempt on goal.

The match ended 0-0 with the two side sharing the point in Ilorin.

The head Coach of Ogbomoso United, Niyi Oyekale while addressing OUFC Media said, he is satisfy with his boys performance in today’s game just that the boys were not just lucky today. He said *I am proud and satisfy with the performance of my boys they gave their best today, it wasn’t just their lucky day. I believe they will keep improving as preparations continues*

Ogbomoso United has earlier in the week defeated Saint FC of Ogbomoso 3-1 and Just yesterday Broncos FC of Ogbomoso 2-1 in a preparatory game ahead of the new football season.

United has returned back to Ogbomoso as preparations continues again next week.
