The minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare was a messiah in the crisis in Ogbomoso at Soun’s Palace following hoodlums forceful entry into the palace thereby causing an uproar in the city as they destroyed chairs, overturned tables, broke windows.
These were not Youth or Students but miscreants and thugs who saw a window of opportunity in the protest which since abated in the course of the EndSars protest.
Soun, the chiefs, leaders of Parapo were guided to safety albeit the timely intervention of the sports minister who made the situation in Ogbomoso protesters of #SARS not to get out of hands with his immediate call to securities outfit to come to the rescue of citizens and well being of Soun of Ogbomoso.
Contrary to the report flying around, he did not only rescued the situations, he paid the medical bills of most injured victims in the hospital and promised to ensure that peace returns to Ogbomoso land.
He also paid condolences to the parents of Isaq Jimoh who was felled by a police bullet during the protest and also visited the 12 & 15-year-olds at the Bowen Hospital both victims of Police stray bullets awaiting surgery as he further appealed for calm & asked for justice
