The president of Oyah sports of Suleja Niger state, Osman Sillah is one who has resolved to become a private club owner with a difference.
The Sierra Leone born administrator whom football business lured to Nigeria’ and deemed it necessary to stay in Suleja to avoid the hustle and bustle of a high brow city in the FCT decided to settle down in the quiet city of Suleja.
This bold decision ultimately birthed Oyah sports an NNL football outfit.
“I have invested millions of Naira in renovating the stadium in Suleja with an understanding with the authorities in the Local Govt.”
He further explained that a lot of players from Nigeria’ has benefited from his various links abroad.
” Mohamed is an Ivorian int from Oyah sports whom I moved to Finland, I also facilitated the transfer of Gabriel Ruben and 6 other players settled in a second division team in Finland.
Two Oyah players also moved to KUPS in Finland.
It is good to know I have links in Romania, I have also transferred Abdulkadir to Macedonia from Niger Tornadoes”.
The very experienced football scout cum administrator also revealed that his first club Royal Stars in Sierra Leone are now in partnership with Oyah sports for movement of players between both clubs which will yield fruitful results.
” My ultimate goal is to see Oyah sports getting a promotion slots to the NPFL with standard facility to play in and presenting a model club that will be every fans delight” Sillah concluded.
