President of the Nigerian Cycling Federation, Engr Giandomewico Massari has stated that one of the focal point of the federation at the moment is to rehabilitate the Velodrome at the national stadium in Abuja.
Massari noted that the Velodrome is not in its finest shape at the moment, as some stoves have been stolen which makes it to suffer more complications, leaving the shape of the Velodrome a bad structure.
The velodrome is used for high performance training by athletes and the cycling boss believes that for Nigerian athletes to reach their highest potential, a fully standardized Velodrome will be the next way forward.
