Many football stakeholders who live outside Mushin, Lagos may not know MS Success Football Club of Mushin but those who have been following the club in the last few years can attest to the fact that the Mushin based grassroots club had achieved a lot within which attracts many young players to show interest in the club.
Although there are many grassroots football clubs in Mushin MS Success FC is a club that commands respect among clubs in Lagos. The club has a sponsor in the person of Alhaji Yusuf Ayinla, the chairman Kunyinla Nigeria Limited (Importer Of Extra Quality Plywood)
Many young players in the club are committed, disciplined, and ambitious not because the grassroots club train at Eko Boys High School in Mushin but the management of the club has put a structure in place to make players be comfortable and give a good account of themselves in the course of training.
In a chat with our correspondent, the chairman of the club, Musibau Oseni said the club was formed in 2017 with different aged categories saying that in the last three years the club has more than 100 players in various categories such as U-13, 15, 17 and free age.
A dark-skinned football administrator revealed that another reason why many young players join the club is because of achievements the club has recorded in the last three years of existence.
“MS Success FC is an amateur grassroots football club in Mushin. Our training exercise is standard and many young players within and outside Mushin register with the club. Our training facilities are superb and we have the best coaching crew who drill the players to reach their fitness level,” he said.
Oseni who oversees the activities of the club in various categories explained that they have just unveiled the new set of jersey for the club ahead of 2020/2021 season saying that his team are planning big for the new season.
“Of course we are not playing Nigeria Professional Football but we are warming up for Surulere regional league SRL and other high profile tournaments in Lagos,” he said.
Oseni revealed that his two players such as Kehinde Adeyemi and Azeez Oseni are currently playing their trade with Sunshine Stars and 36 Lion FC respectively.
