The Chairperson of the Nigeria Women Football League, Aisha Falode, has commiserated with the management of the Nigeria Football Federation, on the death of one of its staff, Mr. Tolulope Abelola, who was on until his death, the Head of ICT, of the Football Federation.
Falode, also a board member of the NFF said, the passing away of Abelola, was a huge loss to Nigerian football, as the late staff was a long term staff of the federation who rose through the rank working in the different departments of the NFF before he became the Head of ICT.
She added, Abelola at some point, worked very hard towards the development of women’s football in the NFF. In many ways, his loss was a major blow to Nigerian women’s football development.
“We in the NWFL love Tolulope Abelola, but God loves him more. We pray for the repose of Abelola’s soul and also grant his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
