Garden City Panthers FC have announced in a signed statement that the Abuja based club is set to participate in the Nigerian National League (NNL) 2020/2021 season.
Following a board meeting, and after guarantees that all the assumptions to guarantee a normal development of the sporting season, it has been decided that they will participate in the Nigerian National League.
“We know in advance that derived from the Covid pandemic that affects the whole planet, it will be a difficult time, and, we will have to adapt to all these new rules so that our athletes, staff and opponents have all the conditions in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Sports, and we will fully comply with all guidelines received from the Nigerian Football Federation.”
“It is a matter of pride for all of us at Garden City Panthers FC to have made such an important decision for the club’s future in such a short time, and we look to the future with the hope of becoming a reference club in Nigerian football.”
“We would also like to publicly thank everyone who allowed this decision to be taken, our direction, our staff, our athletes and our sponsors.

The Club further appealed to the support of everyone, supporters, staff, athletes and especially to sponsors as they subsequently pledged to communicate more news regarding the composition of the squad, the technical team and the staff involved in the project, the Club official statement read.”
