Blessed Stars Football Academy player Itoro Joseph on loan to FC Urartu

 

Nigerian international Itoro Joseph Sunday has expressed his happiness after completing a loan move from Sporting FC Warri. The Akwa Ibom born player who was transferred to Sporting FC Warri from Blessed Stars Football Academy after mutual agreement with both parties has since made his debut to the Armenian premier league side.

Speaking with Itoro, he said ” I am very happy that i am playing for FC Urartu. It has always been my dream to play in Europe and also make my family, my grassroot team and agent proud. This is a big opportunity for me, and i believe its just a starting point. In every game, i believe that putting my best is all that matters not winning or losing.”

While speaking to his grassroot team, the team manager of  Blessed Stars FC Mr. Moses Ukpong disclosed that Itoro Joseph is an “exceptional player”.

“We are all happy here at Blessed Stars FC that Itoro is in FC Urartu. It’s a big opportunity for him that other players in this region are looking upto. I believe he will succeed and bring glory to Blessed Stars FC,” said Mr. Moses Ukpong

It can be recalled that P Sports Management under the Chairmanship of Agent Ojo Paul Omamomo hosted a scouting tournament in Warri on August 2019 and several teams in Nigeria were in attendance including the Akwa Ibom based award winning team Blessed Stars Football Academy.

Itoro Joseph emerged one of the three players scouted from the program and arrived in Armenia on December 26, 2019 to begin medicals. He was officially unveiled on March 14, 2020.
