Ocheje declared further that Afelokhai has the required experience and quality to be part of the Eagles’ current squad and tipped him to make rapid progress in the squad.
He then urged the Eagles to ensure they get victory against the South Afircan side, Bafana Bafana on Saturday at their backyard at FNB Stadium in Jo’Burg.
Ocheje submitted: “I am happy to see my former teammate at Enyimba, Theophilus (Afelokhai) finally invited to the Super Eagles.
“I know what he can do and I am sure he will make his mark with the team. I won’t be surprised if he becomes the number one soon.
“As the for The Super Eagles, I want them to beat South Africa at their home in Johannesburg, to serve as deterrent to other African teams who dare Nigeria next time.”
