KIFA plans grassroots football revolution

The pitch is getting higher and the pace gets faster, with a football revolution heating up. And Kanu International Football Academy (KIFA), is leading the revolution from the grassroots.

The highly-rated football academy with over 70 football centres of excellence spread across different states and cities in Nigeria and over 2,100 young and gifted footballers, is poised to change the narratives in talents production in the mould of legendary and iconic Nwankwo Kanu, Austin ‘Jay- Jay Okocha, Finidi George, Mutiu Adepoju and Uche Okechukwu.

Speaking with Kifamedia, the Director-General of the foremost football academy, Prince Dapo Ajibade, revealed that plans have reached advanced stages to consolidate upon the gains achieved by KIFA, when it held a national training camp at the world-class Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Ibadan and in the presence of foreign football experts.

” KIFA is not relenting its efforts to change the narratives as it concerns the development of football from the grassroots level,” the former Chairman of Sunshine Stars and Ondo State Football Agency declared.

” In the mould of our principal, Nwankwo Kanu, we are committed to the enhancement of the country’s talent production chain. We are also collaborating with top foreign teams to give the needed exposures to the abundant talents in KIFA, for the benefits of Nigerian and global football,” he stated confidently.
