Super Eagles coordinator and Bauchi state FA chairman, Patrick Pascal has called on Super Eagles players who claimed to have been asked to pay bribes to mentions names of the offenders.
Chinedu Obasi, Brown Ideye and some other players had come out earlier to state that they missed the 2014 World Cup because they refused to pay bribes.
Pascal in an interview on Instagram with the Authentic Nigeria Football Supporters Club, ANFSC today said the players should stop giving Nigerians parables.
” If you want to talk, feel free to mention names and stop giving us parables. You are not Jesus. Something has happened 6 years ago and you are just coming out now. Why now?”
“If you know you had a case, why not then? Why when the coach is no longer alive. If you know you have something to say, mention names. An interview is for you to spill the truth, you can’t leave us wondering on parables, you are not Jesus Christ.” He continued.
In the same vein, a member of the 2014 World Cup squad, Elderson Echejile had told Obasi and Ideye to mentions names of the guilty parties.
