Tyson Fury has mocked British-Nigerian boxer, Anthony Joshua revealing he’s no match for him after watching his defeat to Andy Ruiz as both have been tipped to meet for a unification bout before the Coronavirus outbreak.
Fury and Joshua are on course for an all-British heavyweight dust-up, with the pair holding all five of the division’s reputable belts. They have been tipped to meet later this year or at the start of 2021, with Fury likely to be the favourite after he stopped Deontay Wilder in seven rounds in February to relieve him of his WBC belt.
He told ESPN: ‘One-hundred percent, Joshua’s not dangerous, at all. He’s like a big cuddly baby. He’s not dangerous at all, Tyson Fury insists he has no fears over facing Anthony Joshua as he goads British rival for getting ‘knocked spark out’ by Andy Ruiz.
”Why would I be a believer when he got knocked spark out by Andy Ruiz? A last-minute replacement opponent, who turned up 300 pounds or whatever it is, he didn’t train, and Anthony Joshua couldn’t do any good with him in the rematch”, he mocked.
“He doesn’t have anything, he couldn’t hold a candle to The Gypsy King. There’s only one heavyweight out there, there’s only one undefeated world champion”, Tyson boasted.
