Manchester City’s Nigerian-born youngster, Lukas Nmecha has caught the fancy of Bournemouth gaffer, Eddie Howe, with hints of a likely January transfer deal now looming.
Sports247.ng gathered that Nmecha has emerged as a potential target for Howe, with the 19-year-old rising star seen as the type of player who would thrive in his system.
Howe has been keeping tabs on the England under-21 international during his season-long loan spell at Preston North End.
Nmecha is yet to score for Preston but has improved in form while playing in the Championship during his first loan away from City.
He is among the impressive teenagers who have been developed at The Citizens’ Etihad Campus, and could be on his way to joining another Nigerian-born rising star, Jordon Ibe at Bournemouth.
