The Nigerian Women U-20 team, the Falconets will play Naija Ratels Football Club in a friendly match on Sunday in Abuja.
The friendly which is part of the team’s preparation ahead of the upcoming FIFA U-20 World Cup Qualifier against Burkina Fasso, which though has been put on hold by CAF due to the deadly Corona Virus infection.
The President of Naija Ratels FC , Barrister Paul Edeh disclosed that the game was organised to help put his girls in proper shape of mind and to also give them more exposure ahead of upcoming challenges.
” We played against the Flamingos some weeks back and thought we should do the same with the Falconets because the girls gained a lot from the game.
” We just re recruited some players and it would be good for the manager to test them against the Falconets.
” I believe its going to be a difficult game, as am sure my players will give them a run for their money. He said
Also speaking, the Coach of the Falconets, Moses Aduku also noted that he is looking forward to the test game against the Ratels.
” It is a good test game for us, we look forward to gaining from the encounter as we continue to build a solid team that all Nigerians can be proud of”.
The game will come up today, Sunday the 15th of match 2020 at the FIFA Goal Project Pitch Package B by 4pm.
