Enyimba International of Aba striker, Sunday Adetinji has praised the club’s decision to give their coach, Usman Abd’allah a new two-year contract.
Speaking against the backdrop of Abad’allah’s elevation from an interim basis to The Peoples’ Elephants’ full contract, Adetunji said it will make the team stronger.
Adetunji went on to declare ion an interview with sports247.ng that the development will make the Aba club in a better position and more than capable of winning silverware next season.
Adetunji further told sports247.ng that Abd’allah, who had initially been handed the reigns on interim basis after the club parted ways with Paul Aigbogun, said it is due reward for the tactician.
Abd’allah indeed guided the Aba Elephants to the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final and reached the Aiteo Cup semi-final.
Adetunji said: “I am happy that our coach now has a full contract with the club. It is good and is something that will help us to do well.
“In fact, the team is used to the coach’s style and philosophy now and the continuity will greatly help us to fight for honors next season.”
