The D’tigress qualification games for the Tokyo 2020 summer Olympics game against Mozambique produced moments of dare quest after Otis Hughley team breezed past Mozambique, wining the encounter 85-51.
Hughley’s fighting Spirit comment after the team’s training session on Tuesday was no mere words as the girls battled for a place in the Summer Olympics with a deserved victory by 34.
Grouped alongside Mozambique, U.S and the host, Serbia, D’tigress will seek to build on this momentum when they battle Serbia on Saturday at the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall, Belgrade before the last game against reigning Champions, U.S. on Sunday.
Although the Tokyo 2020 Olympics is scheduled to take place from 24 July to August 9, the preliminary events in some sports will begin on 22 July.
