Total National Division One ends Sunday as curtain draws on promotion battles

Impressions (Delta), CAMAC (Bayelsa) and Chuba Ikpeazu (Anambra) have all emerged as favorites for a place in the Atlantic Conference of the NBBF Premier League.

In the Savannah Conference, it is all about Reformers and City Chiefs as they look primed for automatic promotion to the elite league.

After match day 4, CAMAC won 3 games and lost one while Impressions are on a three game unbeaten run.

Coach Ayodele Bakare-led Comets threw away a 19 point lead to lose their third game out of four played at the ongoing NBBF organized Total Division One League going on in Lagos.

The result means Comets will spend another season in the Total Division League with just one game to go.

It was a very close contest between Yobe Warriors and Golden Touch in the Savannah Conference on match day 4. Golden Touch suffered their first loss against the Warriors from Yobe 58-60 points.

On Sunday, Impressions will take on NAFBALL, City Chiefs battle Yobe Warriors while CAMAC face OS Lions of Osun State.

Chuba Ikpeazu and Comets will slug it out as Reformers and Taraba Hurricanes clash before the final game between FRSC Safety Kings and Golden Touch.

The top two teams in the Atlantic and Savannah Conferences will gain automatic promotion to the Premier League as the competition ends on Sunday.
