Golden Eaglets Coach, Jolomi Atune resumes with Akwa United

Nigeria Golden Eaglets Assistant Coach, Jolomi Atune, has resume work with Akwa United Football Club of Akwa Ibom as assistant coach.

Atune will now join force with Akwa United Head Coach Kennedy Boboye who took over after Coach John Obuh resign some few weeks ago.

With the pair Akwa United now have two national team handler because Jolomi Atune was one of the assistant coaches to the Head coach, Manu Garba in the 2019 Nigeria National Under 17 Golden Eaglet team and as well a former Future Eagles assistant Coach Daladi Nasidi of the Nigeria under 14 National team.

While Coach Kennedy Boboye was also assistant to Coach Imama Amakpakabo in the home based and under 23 Dream Team.

The confidence Atune believed Akwa United have what it takes to win the Nigeria Professional Football League,NPFL, as they are back to winning ways following their two straight win and hope to pick the maximum three points against inform Lobi Stars in the next game .

” It’s a delight to be here. And working with Boboye,I think we can do a great job even though more challenges are on the way”.

“My first game will be against Lobi Stars at the weekend and I hope we will claim all three points to extend our unbeaten run to three”.

Coach Jolomi Atune will have his first real test as NPFL coach on Sunday as Akwa United host lobi Stars by 4pm.
