Former Rangers striker nets twice to salvage team’s top flight battle

Ex Enugu Rangers winger, Daniel Etor scored twice against old time foes, Al- Nasr in the Oman professional League to keep up his 11th placed team’s momentum firm on the log.

The Kano born Nigeria U-23 was on loan with Al- Nasr for two seasons where he scored 5 goals in 15 appearances before joining Muscat after the expiration of his deal with the club.

Etor 26, who won the best foreign player with his ex-employer, Al- Nasr now has 4goals, 3 assist to his name in the 2019/2020 season.

In an interview with Sports247.ng after the game, he said;
“This is a very emotional moment for me bagging a brace against my former team”, he voiced.

“They gave me a platform and am thankful, this is my profession and I have to do my job regardless who is involved without disrespect”.

” I am looking forward to whatever way I can help the team progress, it is what I signed for”, he affirms.

The Muscat striker has 15 appearances with the Nigeria National U-23 complimented with 2 goals.
