Honourable Sanjo Adedoyin ,the Oyo State House Of Assembly Majority Leader, fondly called Sanjay by his admirers, was full of accolades as he joined the mammoth crowd to cheer Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso to victory against Bayelsa United Football Club of Yenagoa in the 2019/2020 NNL season opener.
Hon Sanjo Adedoyin who was not weighed down by the early goal scored in the tenth (10th) minute by the guests kept applauding the Ajilete Warriors for any good move made.
Two good goals scored by the fat and energetic goal banger, Abbey Thompson in the thirtieth (30) and thirty fifth (35th) minute rekindled the spirit of the Soun Boys to add more goals but their efforts did not yield the needed result until the centre referee signalled the end of first half which ended two goals to one(2:1) in favour of the Ajilete Warriors.
Addressing the players in the dressing room, Hon Sanjo Adedoyin, who was accompanied by his aids and party faithfuls assured the team of necessary supports by the Engr Seyi Makinde led administration to ensure the team excel.
“I’m so happy watching this game. Sincerely speaking you have a good team that can defeat the who is who in the country. It was entertaining. You made my day more colourful. I love it. I urge you to keep up the winning mentality spirit because that is the only surety that will speak for you on the request table. Taiwo AbdulRafiu’s missile moving shot in the eighty nineth (89th) minute added more salt to the injuries of the guests.
The game ended three goals to one in favour of the Soun Boys.
Crown FC will be on the road to trade tackles to Rovers United FC of Calabar on Saturday 30th November, 2019 at UJ Esuene Stadium in the Week two (2) fixtures of the NNL.
