Pillars’ ultimatum started with a loss to Jigawa Golden Stars stars.
Meanwhile, Wikki Tourist will be all out to get something from the game so as to keep with or topple Plateau United at the table top. Currently sitting third with a point behind the leaders, the Bauchi based side will fancy thier chances in this one.
Another relegation battle will be between Heartland and Jigawa Golden Stars in Owerri. The host one of the four clubs yet to win a game will be hoping luck shine on themo this time. Fidelis Ilechukwu needs to find the winning formular to win the hearts of the fans.
The visitors come into the tie fresh from their first win of the season. The win moved them from the bottom of the table and with the host struggling themselves, the new boys will push for something in Owerri.
Akure gunners will look to take some sunshine from Katsina United. The south western side days after defeating the defending champions will be looking to add another three point in the bag. Sunshine stars are leveled on point with their host and this shows to be a cracker of a match in Daura.
Following that impressive outing im Lagos, Warri wolves face Rivers United this weekend. The new boys have been intresting to watch while Rivers United coming from defeating a rival will want to pick a point on the road.
Suffering their first defeat, Enyimba will plot the fall of Adamawa United in Aba. The Elephants will want to pick up from the defeat to keep with their title defence. However, the guests, defeated Enyimba’s neighbours, Abia Warriors last time out; hence the Aba boys will not want to under estimate their opponent.
High flying Plateau United visit Delta force. The away team are unbeaten and on top of the table with 10 points and Abdu Maikaba’s men will want to continue the good run. A lose for the host will drop them into relegation zone, hence prompt them to have a good outing against Plateau.
MFM FC have won two away games this season and will hope to get another one when they visit Abia Warriors. All the away wins have been on the south eastern soil and with another visit looming, the Olukoya boys will fancy their chances again. For the host, a chance to pick up after the disappointing defeat to Adamawa United on MD4.
With two straight loses, Enugu Rangers will need to start again when the face Dakkada FC. Rangers need to find their feet early so as to be ready for continental games; the guests on the other hand are unbeaten and are looking to prove a point in the league.
Fianlly, FC Ifeanyi Ubah will host Lobi stars; the Anambra warriors need points to get back into the top four while for Lobi, a win takes them on top of the table if Plateau loses so there is alot to play.
