BURUJ BOYS FORCED KAKAKI FC TO 1 – 1 DRAW AGAIN

-Buruj Sports Academy draw Kakaki FC again for the second time after their last met in 2017 when their first clash results in a 2-2 draw in the home side of Kakaki FC.

28 mins into the game, The Kakaki’s side produced a splendid freekick goal to beat Buruj Sports Academy Goal Keeper Edet Inyang.

During 41mins – The Referee issued a yellow card to Kakaki Fc Midfielder for a Foul committed on Buruj Sports Academy Skeeper Noah Salaudeen.

As earlier expressed by the CEO Salaudeen Waheed, the keenly contested game was part of the trial matches being organised to prepare the team for their next foreign trip and it was Kakaki Boys who struck first minutes of the first half time.

The second half began at exactly 5:00pm – substitution was made in 48mins where Gideon Usulor was replaced with Golden Ukoma. Bearly 17mins later another substitution was made where Al-Amin Seriki was replaced with Samson Austine.

On 76mins, a Good square pass was made by Chidera into the opponent penalty box but the opponent defender mistakenly head the ball inside his goal resulting to a 1-1 draw.

At 79mins, another splendid square pass was placed inside the box but the opponent defender head the ball away for a corner kick.

During 86mins – Buruj Sports Academy Golden Ukoma got a yellow card from the referee for pushing the opponent defender.

The goal rattled their more matured opponents which ensured that the closing stages of the game was fire-for-fire but none of the two sides could produce the much coveted winning goal till the final whistle.

At exactly 5.45pm, the center referee sound the whistle to end the game.

While reacting on the performance of the boys, the CEO of the academy Salaudeen Waheed expressed satisfaction over what he described as level of improvement in the quality of performance of some of the players on parade but was quick to order the technical crew to work on some noticeable lapses in their collective display.

He particularly singled out kidstar Chidera Amuji who was recently converted to a left back for praise, saying that the team is beginning to take shape well ahead of time after a slow start to the buildup.

“The player amongst others that continue to impress me is Chidera Amuji now playing from left back position. He is improving with each passing day, gaining more confidence and the more he continues his adaptation to the new role and system, the better for the entire team,” He implore audience to be on the look out for this talented kid who is a registred player with the Nigeria Football Federation, he has played and represented the academy in
