Ahead of the 2018 World Women’s Championship in India, Yetunde Odunuga has reiterated her resolve to win a Gold Medal for Nigeria in the showpiece.
The 2018 Commonwealth Bronze Medallist believes she has what it takes to end the year on a high.
“My mind is on the World Championship in India. I have ambition and high hopes for the battle that lies ahead of me. I can’t wait to make my lofty dreams become a reality,” Yetunde Odunuga began in an interview with Sports247.ng.
“I have been training very hard and doing the necessary things expected of me. I’m looking forward to taking to the ring and making my country proud.”
“Before the Commonwealth Games, I set the target of winning a Medal. At the end of the competition, my efforts was rewarded with a Bronze Medal. At the World Championship the ultimate is what I want, which is the Gold Medal. I want to end the year on high,” she added.
