Nigeria’s under-20 handball national team coach, Fidelis Obi has disclosed that the strength of his side is in the physical attributes, which he believes will stand them out at next year’s Mundial.
As he steps up preparations for the Handball U-20 World Cup next year, Obi told sports247.ng that physicality has always been the forte of his players and he believes it will again work for them.
Obi said apart from being a reflection of their African style, being able to play with a lot of strength and stamina is also what France use to get an edge over their opponents.
Obi stressed: “Our strength is in our physicality, and we are not going to change when we go to Denmark and Germany for the Under-20 Handball World Cup in January.
“I can tell you categorically that it is the same strength that one of the world’s handball superpower countries, France, use to dominate their opponents. They do well because of their physicality.”
