Gal 6:9 – Akinwunmi Adesina, the President of the African Development Bank stood up rapidly to extend a handshake, behind him was Idris Wada, then Governor of Kogi State, waiting for Dr Adesina to complete his compliments (as pictured) so he could also get a handshake with this young man.
“Well done Dayo, we are proud of you Dayo”‘, said Dr Adesina. It was an award dinner where I was being honoured alongside the AFDB President and the then Governor. And instantly, Proverbs 22:29 came to me ‘have you seen a man diligent in his works, he shall stand before kings and not mean men’.
There is a guaranteed reward for hard work and diligence, it is an honour. You may not be celebrated yet but keep at it. People may misjudge your intentions but don’t be discouraged. Keep pushing, keep sowing, keep paying the price, REWARD will come. The scripture in Galatian 6:9 says “Let us not be weary in doing good, for in the due season, we shall reap, IF WE FAINT NOT’.
