The draws for the 2019 men WAFU Cup competition is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 29th in Dakar, Senegal.
All countries in the West African region participate in the competition.
The last edition of the tournament was held in Ghana with the Nigerian home-based team emerging as runners up after losing 4-1 to Ghana in the final.
Nigeria, who will be among the countries that will be drawn into groups will host the third edition of the WAFU Cup in 2021.
Meanwhile, Nigeria’s Super Falcons defeated hosts Ivory Coast on penalties last weekend to win the Women version of the competition.
