Abia Warriors recorded a comprehensive win over local rivals FC Ifeayin Ubah in one of the Nigeria Professional Football League fixtures played on Thursday.
The Emmanuel Deutsch side thrashed the Anambra warriors 3-0 in Umuahia to boost their chance of avoiding relegation to the second tier of Nigeria football next season.
Atitola Salami Tunde gave the hosts the lead in 25 minutes , before Ibrahim Olawoyi added a second six minutes into the second half.
Shedrack Asiegbu wrapped up the three points with a sumptuous strike in the 70th minutes.
Abia Warriors are now 10th on the log with four matches remaining in the fixtures.
