Confederation of African Football is set to announce Germany company, Continental Tyres, as part of its sponsors for next month’s Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to take place in Egypt.
With an official statement set to be announced next Monday in Cairo, Continental Tires, the leading German premium tyre manufacturer, has a long history of football sponsorship all over the world.
This is the first time the company is venturing into African football following massive changes under new President Ahmad Ahmad that is drawing corporate interests.
The massive sponsorship deal is another huge success for CAF President Ahmad Ahmad who wants to make confederation and its products attractive.
The German company becomes the third sponsor to have joined CAF after the deal with betting company 1Xbet and Visa.
