President of the Nigeria Shooting Federation (NSF), Brigadier General Lonsdale Adeoye (rtd) is in Cairo to attend the Africa Shooting Board Federation (ASBF) meeting, reports Sports247.ng.
The meeting will be used to determine the way forward in the administration and development of Shooting in Africa.
“I’m in Cairo for the ASBF meeting,” Adeoye said in an interview with Sports247.ng.
“The meeting in Cairo is expected to produce members who will be elected into the executive board of the ASBF.
Nigeria is aiming to be elected into the executive board and this will make Nigeria become a major force in decision making not only in Africa but globally.
Adeoye added, “When that is achieved, the country will have a voice to protect its interest in the sports of shooting in Africa and globally.”
