Everton loanee, Henry Onyekuru scored twice in Galatasaray’s 5-2 victory over host Yeni Malatyaspor at the Malatya Arena on Thursday.
The Super Eagles international was involved​ in the opening goal as he teed up Martin Linnes to score in the fifth minute.
With six minutes to end the first-half, Algerian forward Sofiane Feghouli doubled the visitors advantage while Danijel Aleksic reduce the deficit for the host from the spot.
Meanwhile, Onyekuru grabbed his first goal 13 minutes into the second half when his strike beat goalkeeper Guilherme
The 21-year-old doubled his goal tally in the 74th minute when he found the back of the net through an assist from fellow African, Sofiane Feghouli, while Kostas Mitroglou completed the demolition with an 83rd minute strike.
Galatasaray, who are second on the Super Lig table with 59 points from 29 matches will play Akhisar Belediyespor in the final of the cup match.
Onyekuru has scored 14 goals and provided two assists in all competitions for the Yellow-Reds this season.
