Nigeria and Africa’s Number One tennis player Aruna Quadri has been knocked out of the 2019 ITTF World championship Men’s Singles in straight set today in Budapest by Fan Zhendong.
China’s Fan Zhendong who is currently the number one tennis player in the world and the number one seeded player at the ITTF World championship was too good for Aruna Quadri.
Zhendong who is yet to drop a game after three round of games at the championship recorded a 4-0 (12-10, 11-2, 11-6, 11-9) win against Aruna Quadri.
Aruna Quadri was the only African player who made it to the round of 32 and with his eliminations no African player is left in the men’s singles.
