Nigeria Para-Powerlifting Federation has set in motion plans to organize a coaching clinic, with a view to preparing the country’s technical hands for a global championship next year.
President of the body, Queen Uboh enthused in an interview with sports247.ng that the country’s para-powerlifting coaches will be busier with the clinic billed to come ahead of the world championship slated for next year in Lagos.
She disclosed that it will not be a one-off event, as various stages of the programme are scheduled to hold over a course three months apart.
Uboh said: “The clinic will be organised every three months depending on the number of countries that will be indicating their interest.”
