FC GETAFE GRADUATE HAMEED JOINS BURUJ’S SUPER CUP TRAIN – As Technical Department Promise To Integrate The Spain Returnee Ahead Foreign Trip

A Nigerian graduate of Getafe International Madrid Football Academy, Hameed Abiodun Hamzat, is set to storm the United Kingdom with Buruj Sports Academy as they intensify preparations for both the English and Welsh Super Cup this year.

The 18-year old left footed utility player who left the shores of the country in August 2017 to train and develop his football talent in Spain, bagging a National Football Academy Diploma in the process, returned to Nigeria a couple of days ago and immediately pitched his tent with Buruj Sports Academy to further his soccer career.

He is one of the young and exciting talents the Double Champions are grooming to unleash on their opponents in defense of the titles they won in the previous tournaments; and while speaking on the new development, the CEO of the academy, Salaudeen Waheed, disclosed that he and the technical crew will monitor the player closely to ascertain his level of fitness and readiness.

“He arrived right away from Madrid, Spain where he had been training at Getafe International Academy since 2017 to join and prepare with us ahead of our departure for the Super Cup.”

“It is good that we have a player of such good exposure with us. He is a left footed player but it is an added advantage he can play as a winger or as left or right back defender.
We will monitor him closely and help to brush up certain things that are still missing in his game before we depart for the international outing,” Dr. Buruj posited.

Meanwhile, the final list of players for the trip to England is expected to be released before the end of this week, while a number of friendly games will be played before the time of departure.
