The team was received by the CAF delegation at the Jewel Sports City Hotel in Cairo, where players and officials were briefed on tournament regulations, the code of conduct, and logistical arrangements.

Following the ceremony, the Flying Eagles relocated to their official accommodation, the Radisson Blu Hotel in central Cairo, to continue preparations in a more strategic location.

Later in the day, the squad held a light training session at the Aerosport Training Turf, which lasted for one hour.

Encouragingly, all 24 players participated in the session, with no injury concerns reported.

The Flying Eagles are set to face Tunisia on Thursday in their Group B opener, aiming to make a strong start to their U-20 AFCON campaign.

The tournament, which kicked off over the weekend, features 13 national teams competing for the continental title and qualification spots for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.
