The Sports Administration Course organized by the Jigawa State Sports Council has been rescheduled. Initially slated for April 22 to 26, 2025, the training will now take place from June 8 to 13, 2025, at the Manpower Development Institute in Dutse, Jigawa State.
The postponement follows disruptions caused by the ongoing strike in the aviation sector, particularly by the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), which has led to the suspension of airline services. As a result, several key participants and resource persons were unable to travel to the event.
The course is designed to offer foundational training to elected officials, NOC staff, National Federations, club managers, physical education teachers, and sports journalists.
Project coordinator Mrs. Deborah Chidiobi, in agreement with the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) management, confirmed the new dates.
