WanAgara FC is excited to announce the appointment of Coach Abubakar Sani as the club’s interim head coach, with immediate effect.
The announcement was made by the Acting Chairman, Dr. Iyada Viko (Eqs), during a management meeting held after the team’s training session.

Coach Sani, who previously served as Assistant Coach, steps into the role following the departure of Coach Hakeem Taiwo Ganiyu, who has taken up a new position with First Bank FC in Lagos.
He will lead the team into the upcoming Nationwide League One (NLO) season, beginning with our opening fixture against Flight FC of Benue, scheduled for April 24, 2025, at the Lafia Township Stadium.
Assisting him will be Coach Ombugadu Victor Akolo
