The Nigerian sprinter clocked 11.62 seconds (+0.4 m/s wind) to finish fourth in heat 2 of the women’s 100m invitational at the prestigious Tom Jones Memorial in Gainesville, Florida.

The 19-year-old continues to show signs of progress this season, following her wind-aided 11.46s run at the South Florida Invitational last weekend. That performance, although outside legal wind limits, hinted at her growing speed and confidence over the distance.
