Prostar Sports International Backs NNL Monthly Awards Ceremony, Set to Celebrate Excellence in Abuja

Prostar Sports International, in its continued drive to promote excellence and reward performance across Nigeria’s football leagues, is partnering with the Nigeria National League (NNL) for the February 2025 Monthly Awards, set to hold on Tuesday, April 15 at the prestigious West-Point Hotel, Zone 7, Wuse, Abuja.

This event, scheduled for 2:00 PM, underscores Prostar’s dedication to uplifting football at the heart of Nigeria’s grassroots and intermediate tiers.

The award initiative, which Prostar proudly powers alongside the NNL and SportLight Hub, celebrates outstanding players, coaches, referees, and clubs that have shone brightly during the month in review.

The Chief Operating Officer of the NNL, Danlami Alanana, confirmed the details to thenff.com, reiterating the league’s commitment to fostering professionalism, discipline, and reward in the second-tier league.

Award Winners for February 2025:

Best Goalkeeper: Oladeji Joshua (Crown FC)

Most Valuable Player & Highest Goal Scorer: Abdullahi Umar (Kebbi United FC) – 4 goals, including the first hat-trick of the season

Best Coach: Emmanuel Duetsch (Solution FC)

Best Behaved Team: Gateway United FC – zero cautions

Goal of the Month: Babatunde Taofeek (Gateway United FC)

Best Referee: Ogunfolaju Joshua (Osun Referee Council)

Each recipient will receive a custom-designed Prostar trophy, Prostar-branded footballs, and jerseys – all echoing the global prestige of the Ballon d’Or but rooted in Nigerian excellence.
