Offa Football Club, a Kwara State-based team competing in the Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO 1), has named Coach Folorunsho Stephen John as its new head coach.
A former goalkeeper trainee at Sunshine Stars, Coach Folorunsho brings a rich blend of experience and tactical expertise to his new role. A 2012 graduate of the National Institute of Sports (NIS), he holds a CAF coaching license and has obtained certifications from top football programs both in Nigeria and abroad.

His coaching philosophy has been shaped by working under three renowned Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) coaches—Deji Ayeni, Emmanuel Dutch (Cameroon), and Edith Agoye—helping him build a strong tactical foundation. Between 2021 and 2024, he was part of the Sunshine Stars FC coaching staff, further honing his strategic approach.
Prior to his appointment at Offa FC, he coached several teams at various levels, including Rising Sun FC (NLO 2), Afe Babalola FC (NNL), and FK Lepaja FC (Latvia Premier League Academy, Nigeria branch).
Recognized for his calm leadership and adaptability, Coach Folorunsho is known for implementing modern football tactics with a strong emphasis on discipline, teamwork, and structured gameplay. His arrival signals a new era for Offa FC as they pursue success in the NLO 1 league
