Lagos State Football League 2024/2025: LSFA Chairman Hajji Liameed Charges Teams On Discipline, Fairplay And Top Class Performances

Ahead of the 2024/2015 Lagos State League season, which kicks off March 19, 2025 across different centres in Lagos, the leadership of the Lagos State Football Association led by Hajji Gafar Liameed, has laid down the gauntlet for the teams participating in the state’s elite league championship.

Speaking at the well-attended draws and unveiling of the football league held at the LSFA secretariat in Surulere, the FA Chairman, Hajji Gafar Liameed charged the participating teams on the needs for them to be very disciplined on and off the field during the championship.

He stated that discipline is key to any successful adventure, as he also emphasises the importance of fairplay during the championship.

Gafar said, “Let me further advise the teams and particularly the players, to put in their best performances at all times during the matches, as the matches of the league would get the needed publicity and media mileage that would be beneficial to the players, officials, investors and stakeholders in financial and sporting terms,” the highly-regarded Lagos FA boss stated.

Meanwhile, a total of 14 maleĀ  and 10 female teams are expected to feature in the much-anticipated football league championship.
