Nigeria Armwrestling President, LOC Members Celebrate Chairman Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka On His Birthday

The President of the Nigeria Armwrestling Federation, Engr Samuel Jackson alongside members of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for the upcoming 14th African Armwrestling Championship, Abuja 2025, came together to celebrate their Chairman, Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka (Zulu), on his birthday.

Adeboye Anthony, who also serves as the Senior Special Assistant on Grassroots Sports Development to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has been a pillar of support and leadership in the growth of armwrestling in Nigeria. His dedication to ensuring a successful African Championship has been widely recognized and appreciated by the entire armwrestling community.

In a heartfelt message, the Armwrestling Federation President praised Adeboye for his unwavering commitment to the sport and his visionary leadership in sports development.

“Zulu has been a driving force in the success of armwrestling in Nigeria. His efforts in organizing the National Open Championship and preparing for the African Championship show his passion for excellence. We are proud to celebrate him today,” he said.

The LOC members also showered him with warm wishes, acknowledging his dedication and hard work. “Today, we celebrate a leader who has given so much to sports in Nigeria. His passion and drive inspire us all, and we are grateful for his leadership,” one LOC member stated.
