Dr. Ademola Are, the President of the Nigeria Rugby Football Federation (NRFF), has been elected as the 1st Vice President of the Union of West African Rugby Federations (UWARF).

His appointment marks a significant step in the development of rugby across West Africa, reinforcing Nigeria’s growing influence in the sport.

Under Dr. Are’s leadership, the NRFF has implemented strategic initiatives to expand rugby’s presence in Nigeria.

The federation recently partnered with Flovale, a business consulting and investment strategy firm, to promote and market rugby across the country.

This initiative aims to establish rugby clubs nationwide, increasing participation and engagement with the sport.

Nigeria’s progress in rugby has also gained international recognition.
