Former FCT SWAN Chairman, Coach Bunmi Haruna, guided Family Worship Champions (FWC) FC to a dramatic 4-3 penalty shootout victory over defending champions EFCC FC in the final of the 2025 FCT President FA Cup on Saturday.
This triumph marks a historic first-ever President Federation Cup win for both FWC FC and Coach Haruna.

Expressing his joy after the match, the seasoned OAP revealed their confidence in winning through penalties. “We knew that if it went to penalties, we would win. We had practiced extensively after losing to them in a shootout last season,” he said.
Looking ahead to the National President Cup, Haruna assured FCT residents of a strong performance. “The team we defeated today reached the quarterfinals of last season’s President Cup, which shows we are capable of competing at a high level. Simply put, we fear no team.”
Both FWC FC and EFCC FC will now compete in the Round of 64 at the 2025 National President Cup
