The hosts took an early lead in the 17th minute when Akpan Joshua found the net after a precise assist from Sodiq Ibrahim. The Oluyole Warriors pushed aggressively for a second goal but were stunned in the 34th minute when Ossy Martins equalized for Lobi Stars against the run of play.

Just before halftime, Martins struck again, putting the visitors ahead and leaving Shooting Stars trailing 2-1 at the break.

Determined to bounce back, 3SC introduced Ukeme William and Mustapha Adams to strengthen their attack. Their persistence paid off when Sodiq Ibrahim fired in a close-range effort past goalkeeper Japhet Opobo, leveling the score.

Despite going down to ten men following Ossy Martins’ red card, Lobi Stars stood firm in defense, frustrating the home side’s relentless attacks in the closing moments of the match.

With the draw, Shooting Stars remain second on the league table and will now turn their focus to their Matchday 26 clash against Enyimba FC in Aba next Wednesday.
